Quick Review of items that are required for HUD FHA Loans
1. Roof gutters installed and directed away from the foundation
2. Home must not be in flood plane, will need survey or verifications
3. Metal tow tongues must be removed, can not be stored under the home.
4. Crawl space must be dry and graded to drain
5. Plastic moisture barrier must be in place in the crawl space.
6. Pier and strap count must be correct to prevent wind pressure uplift
7. Peirs must be mortared or SureWall installed per specification especially to footing level.
8. Footing must have 2 to 4 inch projections and min 8 inch deep.
9. Exterior straps must be in concrete, footings should have rebar reinforcement.
10. Height of unit must not be over 4.5 feet.
11. NTA Data plate must be present
12. NTA Data plates must correspond for all sections of double wide or multi section units.
